Elizabeth

Elizabeth, who clears landmines for a living, combs her hair after a day's work at a mine-clearance camp deep in the Angolan bush. Despite the risks of the job and the isolation of camp life, Elizabeth wanted to play a part in making her country safe again. She is part of an all-female de-mining squad that has so far located and destroyed hundreds of deadly landmines left over from Angola's civil war.
